There are many stories behind these male skeletons. Someone tells something and someone tells something, but that is the most recognized story. That is, in the 11th century, Raja Man Singh attacked Tibet and defeated them. After defeating Tibet, he was taxed by Raja Man Singh. Which included many persons in his army, after stopping the Tibetan king, a troop of the king was returning via this route. Where Roopkund is, there was previously a small flat ground that was cave-less under a glacier. At night, the troop of the exhausted army stopped there and was set on fire to cook. A large glacier of the glacier melted and fell on the army and all got buried.
