Parang La Trek is one of the famous and popular trek in Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. Parang La Trek is a high mountain pass about 18290 feet above sea level. This trek serves as the gateway to Ladakh. This trek is one of the most famous treks in Himachal Pradesh. This trek is a grueling affair due to the difficult terrain and high altitude of Lahaul and Spiti and the hot desert areas of Ladakh.
The trekking undertaking of Parang La Trek starts from the village of Kazi, which is situated in the valley of the Spiti River in Himachal Pradesh. Tourists can reach here via Kibber. There are many popular tourist places here, which is very thrilling and popular, the tourists can visit many delightful places related to Buddhism here. Trekkers can also enjoy camping here. After spending the night in a tent, Trekkers can begin his journey by heading towards the beautiful camp ground - Tutlak Meadow. Trekkers can reach Bongrogen the next morning, starting a long trek of about 7 hours trek to Parag La. There is a rocky and slightly sloping ground here. Which is a very popular place situated at the bottom of two beautiful mountains.
If you want to come to visit this beautiful trek then the right time for you to come here is from June to September, during this time you can visit here anytime. The beginning of June is good for Visitors to experience the long snow sheet and snow waves. Trekkers can see beautiful and extremely beautiful scenery of green mountain grasslands against the desert brown landscape and snow-capped mountain peaks in the months of August and September.
