There is a temple of the serpent god before Nag Tiba, towards which there is a lot of recognition among the locals. People believe that the serpent gods protect their animals. Locals also call Nag dunes as Jhandi. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset are seen from Nag Tibba Top. It also gets snow in winter. Most of the snow covered peaks of Garhwal region are visible from Nag Tibba. There are two routes to reach here – one from Devalasari village and the other from Pantwari village. Nag dunes can be reached by trekking from both these places.Nag Tibba Trek can be done in 1 Day, 2Days and can customise for 3 and 4 days.
How to Reach
Nag Tibba trek, first one has to reach Devalasari or Pantwari village. Both these places are connected by road. You can also go by your car, otherwise one can reach by bus or taxi. The nearest railway station from here is Dehradun. It takes seven to eight hours to reach both places from Delhi. For Pantwari one has to go by Vikasnagar – Yamunotri route, then for Devalasari by Mussoorie – Dhanaulti road. You will have to take permission from Mussoorie Forest Department for trekking from Devalasari, while no permission is required from Pantwari.

Explore beauty of Queen of Hills “Mussoriee ”& Natural Kempty water fall. after reaching Pantwari we will trek to Nagtibba thath, 4 km distance takes 2.5 hours to reach which passes through Pantwari village and their seasonal huts, evening tea & snacks on arrival. Overnight stay in camp.
