it situated at an altitude of 3700-3900 meter above sea level and its around 40 km trek distance to be cover in for this trek, one can reach kathgodam Railway station and drive to Kilpara Village from here trek to Kuwari Village, Jhalaya Village, Khadi Tal and then will reach here. Kuwari Village is famous in Bageshwar district for its culture and tradition and people very gentle and helpful. Matoli Bugyal trek is very attractive because of its lush green meadows and dense forest in between small meadow patches which offers a unforgettable experience of camping and overwhelming view of snow capped Himalayan Peaks.

Itineraries

Day 01

Kathgodam to Kilpara via Bageswer : 240 km : 8-9 Hours

Morning will receive in Kathgodam Railway station and will drive for Kiplara via Bageswer. Night stay will be Tents or Himalayan Huts.

Day 02

Kilpara to Kuwari Village : 8 Km Trek : 6-7 Hours

Today after morning breakfast will start trek to Kuwari Village which is full of Himalayan agriculture and can see glimpse of Ancient culture and Tradition here.

Day 03

Kuwari Village to Khadi Tal Top via Neriya : 6-7 Hours trek

Today trek will pass through meadow, dense forest and it’s totally ascend trek and during the trek magnificent view of Himalayas peaks.
Today our camp will be in Khadi tal Top.

Day 04

Khadi Tal Top to Matoli Bugyal Trek : 4.5 km Trek : 5 Hours

Today will reach to top point of this trek Matoli Bugyal, its quite ascend trek and high altitude; trek is 4.5 km and after reaching campsite explore Matoli Bugyal & enjoy kumaon region Himalayan peak view like Tharkot(6099 m), Baljuri Peak(5922 m), Maktoli (6804 m), Mrigthuni (6856 mts.).
Night Stay in Camp in Matoli Bugyal.

Day 05

Matoli Bugyal to Jabar Trek : 1.5 Km : Exploration & rest day.

Today is most attraction day of the trek we will trek to Jabar which is 1.5 km from Matoli Bugyal, trek route pass through a dense forest where we find various kinds of Flora and Fauna and in between the forest a fresh water scenic lake. From jabar campsite we will see close view of another face of Himalayan peaks which is quite memorable.
Night Stay in Jabar Campsite today.

Day 06

Jabar Campsite to Samdhar/Badiyakot : 15 trek : 7.5 Hours

Today trek is quite downhill and we have to trek 15 km towards Samdhar/Badiyakot. We will visit small Himalayan villages and agriculture farms and Rivers.

Day 07

Samdhar/Badiyakot to Kathgodam : 235 km Drive :8-9 Hours

Today final day of this beautiful Matoli Bugyal trek, early morning after breakfast drive for Kathodam.
We will drop you at Kathgodam Railway station and drive for further journey.
