Badhangari temple

this temple situated above 2,260 meters above of sea level, Badhangarhi temple is situated 8 kms from the town of Gwaldam. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and Lord Shiva. We have to climb many steps to reach temple from here we can see surrounding magnificent view and some ancient wepons like swords, Trident etc.

Angyari mahadev Temple

Angyari Mahadev Temple situated on the border of Chamoli and Bageshwar district is the focal point of the faith of the local people. This temple falls in the Gwaladam region of Chamoli district. It can be reached via Talwadi, Gwaladam or Garasain. During the month of Sawan, there is a wave of devotees, mainly the villagers of hundreds of villages around here. Along with this, devotees of Bhole and trekking enthusiasts also reach here and see the wonderful form of Lord Bholenath. To reach here one has to trek 4 to 5 kilometers. The path to reach Angyari Mahadev Temple situated in the middle of dense forest is very difficult. Usually, the way to reach the temple of Lord Shiva is very difficult and inaccessible. Also, steep ridges have to be climbed. But the way of Angyari Mahadev temple is different. To reach here, one has to climb two kilometers of steep climb, then a straight path, then one kilometer and then half a kilometer down to the valley. The path passes through slippery paths, dense oak forests of Burans. Whichever month of the year it is, the coolness always prevails here, the wonderful shade of nature is seen here in Sawan.
