Dayalisera Bugyal is situated in foothills of Himalayas in Chamoli District at an altitude of 14000 feet, starts from famous town joshimath. Dayalisera Bugyal is still less known destination but now its becoming popular among tourist who visiting Auli, Kuari Pass, Pangarchulla, Bhavisya Badri.

Dayalisera bugyal is famous for its wild crops at this altitude and it also surprised for Tourist and this crop similar crop to Pandavsera on the way to Nandikund trek from Madmaheswer. Local villagers worshiped this crop and worship only they start cutting their crop.

Dayalisera bugyal 26 km from Joshimath and till Tapovan by drive from there 11 km trek to Dayalisera view of this bugyal is amazing around this water falls, Himalayan peaks and joshimath valley.  Now many tourist started visiting this place after kuari pass trek.

Forest Department has done study

Officials of Nanda Devi National Park have studied in the year 2006 on the paddy crop in Dayalisera. Park’s Forest Officer (Joshimath) Nagendra Rawat said that paddy seeds were brought from here and sown at places of height less than 14 thousand feet. However, this seed did not grow here. Research on why this paddy grows in the higher Himalayan regions is needed.

Okhli (Mortar) is in Dayalisera

This paddy has been worshiped in Dayalisera for generations. There are also three mortals here. It is believed that paddy was harvested in these anklets.
