Itineraries
Day 01
Dehradun Railway Station to Dhaula Camp (180mtr)- (226km) – 7-8 hours
Morning 6:30 our vehicle will pick up from Dehradun Railway Station & depart to Dhaula, passes through Mussoriee (Queen of Hills), Nainbagh, Damta, Naugaon, Purola and Mori & dense forest of Pine along with Tons River, Overnight stay in Dhaula, hot tea & snacks on arrival in Dhaula. Dhaula is small hemlet & beautiful site for Camping. Over night stay in tents.
Day 02
Dhaula to Sewa -(2100 m) - 11km – 5 hours.
Trekking begins today, gradual climb easy trek today through rhododendron forest, Villages (Pisa and Khana) & many water streams. Apple tree can be seen both side of our trek route. After 30 minutes of gradual trek & reach to Sewa. Night stay in tents.
Day 03
Sewa to Jhaka (2700 m) -12 km – 6 hours.
After Breakfast trek to Jakha, hard day today than previous day, Norrow ascendiing & Desending route through rocks & forest of Deodar. After taking rest in Jiksun there is a 3 km ascent climb to reach hanging hemlet Jhaka village. Overnight camping here
Day 04
Jhaka to Saruwas thach (3250 m) - 10km – 5 hours.
Trek route pass through thick forest of Deodar, pine & maple after crossing a small playground in Jhaka, many clear water streams & rivulates attracts during trek to Saruwas thach, Saruwas was is beautiful meadow in Rupin Valley from where first sight of Rupin water fall will be visible. Camping in Saruwas meadow is an amazing experience in life.
Day 05
Saruwas thach to Dhanderas thach (3560 m) - 6km – 4.5 hours
Explore Saruwas lush green meadow & surrounding U shape valley along with sunrise view & Rupin waterfall , while entering to Dhanderas Thach many waterfalls will be falling down from hills & patches of meadow around us makes our trek quite amazing.Don’t forget to click some memories of this beautiful scenery. Danderas thach is big high altitude meadow with amazing view around it. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 06
Dhandras thach to upper water fall camp (4000 m) -4km – 4.5 hours.
Today we need to proceed with Trekking equipment for crossing boulders, ice patches
& many water streams, need to cross carefully .
Our trek Leader & Guide will instruct about techniques to cross ice boulder & acclimize you before proceeding. High altitude camping today in upper water fall, it takes around 4 hours to reach.
Day 07
Upper water fall camp to Rupin Pass (4600m) - Ronti gad(4000 m) - 11km – 6 h
Explore Rupin valley in morning, after breakfast start trek to Rupin pass steep climb through snow & not cleared route, all around snow line & enters in Dhauladhar Range,after climb 1.5 km up to Rupin pass & steep descent down to Ronti Gad through snow. Camp for the night in Roti Gad.
Day 08
Ronti gad to Sangla (2700 m) – 12 km – 5 to 6 Hours
Last day of our trek, we are in Himanchal valley now, after breakfast to Sangla where accommodation & Transport will be available, it quite descent down so pressure on knee, it pass through some ground like Rukti Gad, villages, shepherd huts & view of Kinner Kailash peak, after a trek of 5 hours, we will reach Sangla. We will proceed for Shimla.
