Bali Pass or Yamunotri Pass TrekBali Pass  Trek or Yamunotri Pass Trek is an high altitude(4800 m) pass situated in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, connects Har Ki Dun Valley & Yamunotri Valley. This trail offers close view of Kalanag 6,387 (m), Bandarpunch( 6,316 m) and Swargarohini ranges. This trail passes through Govind National Sanctuary & Har Ki Doon Valley where various kind of flora & fauna, Chirping Sound of birds, sweet sound of flowing rivers, water streams & waterfalls, Cool breeze with fragrance of wild flower, lush green meadows with shepherds huts & grazing animals, stunning snow covered peaks, later pass through height altitude glacier reach to holy shrine Yamunotri … its not an imagination but feature of this trail . Yamunotri Temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna on the bank of Yamuna river & one of the shrine in Chardham, every years thousands of devotees visits here. Bali Pass  Trek or Yamunotri PassBali Pass Trek is difficult category of trek in Uttarakhand which starts from Sankari, Sankari is base of many treks and Expeditions like Kedarkantha Trek, Har ki Dun Trek, Borasu Pass Trek, Black peak expedition, Swargarohini peak expedition. this trek pass through Har ki Doon and Ruinsara Tal which trekkers mostly do around the year and becomes popular now days. Bali Pass Trek  is High Altitude pass and pass through snow glaciers and boulders so Trekkers must be well prepared and having previous experience of  Himalayan treks.

Itineraries

Day 01

Dehradun to Sankari (6450 ft.) - 210 km – 7 to 8 hours

Morning 6:30 our vechile will pick up from Dehradun Railway Station & depart to Sankri village, passes through Mussoriee (Queen of Hills),Barkot, Netwar, Mori & Tons River. Overnight stay in Sankri.

Day 02

Sankri to Osla (11660 ft.) - 12 km –motarable to Taluka – 13 km by trek to Osla/Sema. – 6-7 Hours.

Morning warm up exercise & Breakfast at Sankari village , Depart to Taluka 12 km moterable, check all your necessary things required for trek & start trek to Osla 13 km long way which passes side by side of Supin river takes around 7 hours to reach Osla/Seema. Night stay in Osla/Seema.

Day 03

Osla to Har Ki Dun (11675 ft.) - 15 km – 7 hours

Morning 7 am breakfast & depart for Har Ki Dun Valley which is 15 km far, takes 6-7 hours to reach. After crossing suspension bridge which made over Supin river quite ascend trek. 4:30 or 5 :00 O’Clock we will reach to beautiful valley Har Ki Doon, take rest & wait for hot tea & snacks. Overnight Stay in Valley which will feel a new experience of life.

Day 04

Har Ki Dun to Morinda Tal / Jaundhar Glacier – Har Ki Dun -12.5 km

Morning after hot tea , Yoga & exercise in Har Ki Doon Valley. After breakfast start trek to Morinda Tal & Jaundhar Glacier, its depends upon you how much u can cover , both destination around 12.5 km up & down. Morinda is a high altitude lake.
Explore Jaundhar Glacier & Mornda Tal Today & return back to God’s valley Har Ki Doon. Overnight stay in Har ki Doon Valley.

Day 05

Har Ki Dun to Rainbasera camp (3000 m.)  - 8 km – 4.5 hours.

Today we will trek to Rainbasera, beautiful campsite, Gradual walk , After breakfast proceed further exploring valley & surroundings. it will take around 4to 5 hours to reach campsite, evening tea & snacks & overnight stay here.

Day 06

Rainbasera /Devsu bugyal to Ruinsara lake (3500 m.) – 13km – 6 h.

Early morning enjoy sunrise view along with hot tea, After breakfast proceed to High altitude lake Ruinsara (3500)via Devashu Bugyal, trek is easy with gradual ascend in between trek, take around 5-6 hours to cover, amazing surrounding view which encourage us to proceed & tiredness feeling will not be there. Hot tea in Ruinsara & explore Ruinsara Tal today. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 07

Ruinsara lake (3500 m) to Odari (3700 m.) - 8 km – 5 hours.

We are getting closer to our aim of this trek, Odari is the Basecamp of Bali pass. Explore surrounding view of Ruinsara in morning, kyarkoti is few kilometer distance from here which is base camp for Kalanag(Black Peak) & Dhumdhar khandi pass. After breakfast proceed to Odari, trek is quite difficult then other day, 5 hours to reach campsite. Overnight stay in Odari(basecamp of Bali Pass).

Day 08

Odari to Upper Damini(Yamnotri Pass) (4000 m) - 6km – 6 hours.

Steep trek route today need to be proceed with trek equipments, Crampon, Guitar & rope because we have to pass glacier & step ridge today, its our highest point of Trek, Closer view of Swargarohini & below Ruinsara Gad is an amazing experience of your life. Overnight stay in Upper Damini.

Day 09

Upper Damini to Jankichatti via Yamnotri(3293) – 12 km – 6-7 hours.

Breakfast in Upper Damini in foothills of Swargarohini & Bali pass , click some unique picture with snow background view & proceed to holy shrine Yamnotri. Visit Yamnotri temple & hot water spring, After lunch trek towards Jankichatti . Today discuss about your adventure experince & Night stay in Guest house in Jankichatti .

Day 10

Jankichatti to Dehradun – 180 km – 5 to 6 hours.

Today is the last day of your trekking programme. Depart to dehardun after breakfast via Uttarakshi & Mussoriee, else can go Rishikesh for Rafting & Bungy jump adventure.
